Denise Turner

Denise graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has experience teaching kindergarten for two years and third grade for six years. In addition, she served as a teacher’s assistant in Christian schools for five years. Denise has also taught preschool and homeschool Bible classes for nine years. She and her husband have two adopted children.

When asked about her philosophy of education, Denise stated:

“These two quotes summarize my philosophy of education: ‘Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it’ (Proverbs 22:6), and ‘Time spent with children is never time wasted.’”

Denise attends The Church at Nolensville, and her favorite Bible verse is Zephaniah 3:17.
