CCDS is open Monday through Friday, January through December from 6:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. except for scheduled holidays. Snow days or other unscheduled closings/delays in opening will be announced on local television stations.
It is important to have your child at school no later than 8:30 a.m. each day. By arriving later, your child will miss important teaching time. Please make every effort to adhere to a consistent schedule of arrival. CCDS will close promptly at 5:45. If you see you are going to be late, please give us a call so we can inform the teacher.
After 5:45, we will begin trying to reach you and/or your emergency contacts. We will wait up to thirty minutes after closing. Upon being unable to reach anyone, we will request assistance of police and the State Department of Human Services.
