Carie McDonald

Carie McDonald graduated from Anderson University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K–6). Her experience with children includes 15 years of teaching in both private and public schools, serving students in grades 3 through 8, with a major focus on science. In 2018, she received the Teacher of the Year Award at her school.

When asked about her philosophy of education, Carie shares:

"I believe education should encompass all aspects of life—academics, fine arts, physical education, STEM, life skills, and religion—in order for children to discover and utilize their God-given gifts. Students should have the support needed to work toward taking responsibility for their education, building life skills and confidence along the way."

Her favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 2:10, and she attends Journey Church.
