Mila Baker

Mila Baker has a Bachelor’s of Arts and Science Degree with a concentration in Child Development and Learning.  She has worked at the Pre-School level for over 15 years.  Her experience includes: Central Christian Academy in Kansas, Bluegrass Baptist Church in Hendersonville and taught first and fifth grade in Sumner County. Mila believes that each child is unique and has his or her own personality and learning style, therefore, each classroom is unique in that it is made up of a group of unique children! “As their teacher, it is my job to provide an environment of security, an atmosphere of loving acceptance, and an opportunity to grow and learn that is unique to each child and classroom.  I work to respect each child and it is my goal to help them develop a respect for their family, teachers, classmates and their home, school and community.  It is a privilege to work in a Christian atmosphere where I can share my love of Christ and where I will be able to help children know Him and grow in His word.” Mila’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:4-8, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
