Community Christian offers School-Age students a program of choice and independence. Kid’s Towne and playground are specially designed with them in mind.
When our Schoolers arrive in the in the afternoon, they are greeted with a smile, a nutritious snack, and the opportunity to talk about their day.
Our program offers a balance of student-directed and teacher-directed activities. The afternoon schedule affords the students the flexibility of choice. They may choose to work in the computer lab or focus on their homework with the assistance of the teacher. They may participate in interactive group games and activities, or simply run and play on the playground. The School-Age students enjoy social activities, arts and crafts, drama and science experiments. In addition, the students will have the opportunity to participate in special events. They are encouraged to have fun, meet new challenges, and enjoy their afternoon in a safe and stimulating environment.
