Emily Guth

Emily Guth has her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.  She has worked with children for 8 years in many different capacities, including dance, cheer, tumbling classes, student teaching in kindergarten and an interim job at Stewarts Creek Elementary in third grade.  Emily says, “I believe that children learn best when they are given structure, love, consequences, and hands-on experiences.  I believe that real learning takes place when a child’s 4 C’s are taken care of.  They must CONNECT to the content as well as their teachers and peers, feel CAPABLE of doing great things, know that they COUNT and are important to our classroom family, and have COURAGE to try new things, make mistakes and grow.”  Emily attends Murfreesboro City Church and her favorite scripture is Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”
